About Us

Bliss Power Lawn Equipment Co. Marshall Bliss Sr. and his son George opened the doors at 1715 Fulton Ave, Sacramento, Ca in 1955. Business was good. They expanded to become the Snapper Lawn Mower Distributor in the early 60's. In the 70's they added lines like Honda Engines, Simplicity Tractors, Hoffco Trimmers, Power Trim Edgers, Champion Spark Plugs, Silver Streak (Oregon) Parts, and many more lines. In 1984 Marshall Bliss Jr. joined the company full time and managed one of the retail locations. In 1988 Casey Bliss joined the family business. Having grown up in the family business Marshall Jr. and Casey purchased the retail division from their father and grandfather in 1998. In 2003 Scott Bliss joined the family business and is currently our sales manager. In 2006 George Bliss Jr. joined the business and is now our parts manager.

As detailed above we are a family owned and operated business. We have been serving Northern California for over 65 years. We take pride in our reputation as being the go to supplier for Sales, Parts and Service in our region. We specialize in everything to do with Outdoor Power Equipment! If we can get it we will. If we can't we will let you know promptly. We have the experience in not only retail but wholesale sales as well. We will earn your business. If and when we fail (Yes we will fail) We will make it right. We have not had 1 verified complaint with the BBB in over 40 years!
